Drama at Strong Roots

This year we are thrilled to announce that the wonderful Lara & Arda will be back with MORE DRAMA!!! 

Having both lived outside of their native Turkey for most of their lives, Lara and Arda met in Istanbul in 2022 and realised their shared passion for performance and education. Since 2023 they have been planning and delivering English Drama programs designed to help children develop important transferable skills to use wherever the future takes them.

Unlike last year’s workshop style classes, this year’s English Drama program will be semester-long and culminate in a performance in December.

In English Drama with Lara & Arda, children will meet weekly to play drama games, act different roles, and prepare for the end-of-term show all while learning and developing new skills, improving their English speaking and confidence, and having a ton of fun!!!

Lara and Arda have studied and taught Drama and English extensively both in Turkey and abroad and we are so excited to have them as part of our Strong Roots Teaching Team!

Monday Drama: 4:30-6:30pm - Ages 7 and above

Friday Drama: 4:30-6pm - Ages 4-6.5 years
