Hello!

My name is Deniz Eksioglu and this library is my dream come true!

 

As a child, I spent a lot of time traveling between the US and Turkey, but no matter where I was, I always felt at home in my books! 

 

For me, reading was, and still is, the ultimate comfort and adventure! Reading can transport me to faraway lands, teach me about cultures and people all around the world, help me to understand scientific theories and historical moments, introduce me to strong women who made big changes, important men who led battles, and children who survived even when the odds were stacked against them! 

 

As the mother of three amazing daughters, I made sure that books and reading were always an important part of our family life; my daughters love reading as much as I do and there is no room in our house that doesn’t have a bookshelf that is filled to the brim! 

 

Here at Strong Roots I am thrilled to have the chance to share our love of reading with all our members and visitors! We have read almost every single book on the Strong Roots shelves and we cannot wait for you to get to enjoy them too!
